Carrie Kline will present poetry on living, singing, teaching, fighting back and loving in Appalachia in a session on Finding Self Through Writing at the Appalachian Studies Association Annual Meeting held this year at UNC-Asheville. Other presenters include Brandon G. Bragg, Northeast State Technical Community College, presenting “Tales from The Trail: An East Tennessee Native Finds Appalachia on the Appalachian Trail” and Lindsey A. Freeman, Simon Fraser University, “This Atom Bomb in Me.”
