Global Water Dances West Virginia

Join in at Haddad Riverfront Park at 700 Kanawha Blvd. in Charleston, WV from 2:00-5:00. 

 2 PM–Water Games, Art, and Dancing
3 PM–Interfaith Water Blessing
3:15 PM–Global Water Dances Performances
4 PM–Post-performance Dialogue facilitated by Carrie Kline of Talking Across the Lines
The Global Water Dances project is a bi-annual performance where people gather around the world at the same date and time to dance and address water issues. Check out www.globalwaterdances.org.

This is an interactive celebration! Bring your kids, friends, or neighbors to play water games, dance, and make water-themed art; join performers from West Virginia and beyond to experience the ‘Global Water Dances: bring your own water and take part in an interfaith blessing of the water; learn a short audience-participation movement sequence; and share your perspective and thoughts about the performance and also WV water issues at the post-performance dialogue!
